Whilst we were working on designing the English Riviera Official Destination Guide for 2019, we were contacted by Nick and Jackie of Rose Court Holiday Apartments in Babbacombe.
They were looking for some help to design an advert to feature within the destination guide.
Our Creative Director Mark went to chat through the details with Nick and Jackie, it was during this initial discussion Nick mentioned their website was feeling out of date and since they brought the business in 2012, the inherited website had remained the same.
Nick and Jackie also felt it was a good opportunity to refresh the image of Rose Court Holiday Apartments.
Our brief was simple, to create something appealing and modern. Given the business name and the rose gardens featured, it was clear to use a rose theme for the logo design, which we were able to do effectively and created a logo design that is stylish and applied across all their branding, marketing material and new website.
Nick and Jackie had acquired their previous website as part of the business acquisition when they purchased Rose Court Holiday Apartments. Their previous website company had not made them aware of any updates to the website, or GDPR regulations despite them paying a regular monthly fee. When Frankman Design reviewed the website process and requirements with Jackie and Nick, they were surprised they hadn’t been informed.
In preparation for the launch of the website, we worked with the domain provider to gain control of the domain for Nick and Jackie, which took the stress of them. We also introduced them to a local email support company so they can have peace of mind that their business email is always visible.
Nick told us “We had been considering modernisation for a while but had no real idea where to start and always put it off. We were introduced to Frankman Design via the English Riviera BID Company, and straight away we met Mark he knew his stuff, we felt we were in good hands and a trustworthy company”

Following the logo design review, we then designed the advert to feature in the English Riviera Official Destination Guide and got straight to work on the website. We have since also designed stationery in the form of letterheads.
Nick commented on how quickly and smoothly the whole process went “We were surprised how easy everything was, from the initial logo design through the completion of the website Frankman Design guided us through the process, it was all very easy. Our new logo and website has given our business the facelift it needed and we are getting many positive comments from our older clients”
