Making Facebook Work For You – Serious About Events Case Study

Since attending their Advanced Facebook Training Rachel Hosking, Director of Serious About Events has seen a huge increase in the reach and impact of their Facebook content.

Rachel understands the importance of cutting through the noise and marketing her business to a highly targeted audience of interested people, rather than to the uninterested masses. So when she wanted to start using Facebook to reach the vast numbers of its active users around the country she came to us for social media training.  Rachel was looking to place her adverts and content in front of the right audience at the right time, and in a format that would encourage the most engagement.

We advised Rachel on everything, from planning her content through to creating a regular content schedule, as well as profiling her audience and using Facebook’s integrated targeting tools.  This knowledge allowed her to build focused audiences and create engaging adverts, that has now enabled Serious About Events to reach their marketing goals.

Prior to the training, their average posts were only being seen by approximately 250 people. Whilst not a bad amount of people/reach, it didn’t reflect the amount of people that liked the page or those that were attending events hosted by Serious About Events, and it was felt there was room for improvement.

Following the training and with the new consistent content schedule, the average post is now achieving a reach of over 1,800 people, this combined with the regular updates and targeted adverts, they have achieved upwards of 30,000 people.  This has allowed Serious About Events to market themselves to more people that are interested in their events, than ever before.

See what Rachel had to say about her Facebook for Business Training and how it has helped them achieve their goals.
