The Managing Director of Smarter Accounting, was looking for a local graphic designer who could work alongside him and his team to help inject some new life into their current marketing material.
They already had an existing logo, colour scheme and some basic corporate guidelines but felt these weren't being adhered to correctly or used consistently across their promotional work. The first thing which required some attention was the Smarter Accounting logo itself, especially the uneven length of the colour bars. Although they were supposed to be increasing in size, the actual size of the bar increments weren't even. After adjusting these I widened the white space between the bars themselves and also increased the overall size of the logo to better sit with the Smarter Accounting text.
This revised logo was carried across onto a new double sided promotional postcard, which was created to promote their new accounting services to local businesses. The postcard was printed on a thick card stock with a gloss laminate on the front to help give the postcard that extra bit of impact!
They also had a mascot style character that appears on their website, which they're not very happy with, so I created a new, far more friendly looking version which will eventually replace the existing one. He'll also be used throughout their promotional work in the future.
