adrian tysall painter & decorator

Adrian Tysall is a professional Painter & Decorator based in Torquay, Devon with over 20 years experience in Domestic and Commercial Painting & Decorating.

project info

Adrian contacted me as he was starting up his own decorating business and required new business cards, stationery and some printed marketing material.

A new logo was required, but luckily he didn't want the typical 'paint brush and roller' clipart icon stuck above his name, and wanted more of a subtle design instead. It was important the logo illustrated both aspects of his work, and didn't focus too much on just the painting side of his services.

The final design below was created and covers both sides to his profession with stylised roller paint marks at the top left of the logo and the suggestion of wallpaper hanging, to the bottom right. Once approved, the new logo was carried across into his business card and letterhead designs, and will shortly be used on his van signage too.

Adrian's business needs to get noticed amongst all the other painters and decorators in the area, so it's very important that his new logo and branding stands out. With matching business cards and stationery, he's now given his business a far better chance of being seen and remembered, as well as showing potential customers he cares not only about the work he's commissioned to do, but also that he takes pride in the appearance and look of his own professional business.
